The Little Gem Magnolia is a popular ornamental plant with all the charm of Southern Magnolia. It is often used as a standout landscape specimen. It is a native tree to the Southern-Western part of North America. The shrub blooms as soon as two or three years old and provides a profusion of fragrant blossoms in those early years of growth. The fruit of the little gem magnolia attracts birds.

Mature Size: Up to 15–20 feet.
Soil Preference: It grows best in acidic, loamy, moist, sandy, well-drained, and clay soils.
