Black Hills Spruce

 

Black Hills Spruce is a delightful, easy care evergreen tree which is native to coldest region of Northern America. This tree grows with a cone shape and looks absolutely beautiful with vibrant, dark green foliage with a bluish-gray overcast. It doesn't need to prune. This tree looks absolutely decorative in your front or back yard.

Growth Rate: This tree grows at a slow rate, with height increases of less than 12" per year.
Mature Size: Up to 30–60 feet
Soil Preference: It grows well in acidic, moist, gravelly or sandy loam and fine clay soils.
