Like its parent, the Sargent crabapple, Candymint Crabapple has a growth habit that tends to be much wider than it is tall. Flowers are dark red, fading to pink as they open in the spring. Foliage is maroon, fading to green as the season passes. Use this tree when a strong horizontal element is needed in the landscape.
