Emerald Queen Maple

The Emerald Queen Maple is an excellent upright, oval shaped native Norwegian tree. It has beautiful dark glossy-green leathery foliage and a bright and sunny yellow fall color. Early each spring, this tree blooms petite yellow flowers. The unique blooms give the tree a charming amount of character along with a lovely cream colored tinge before the leaves even bud! This tree became staple to North America and it can be seen very often in the park.

Growth Rate: It grows at a medium-fast speed.
Mature Size: It grows up to 50-60 feet.
Soil Preference: Moist but well-drained rich clay soils.
