Skyline Honeylocust


The Skyline Honeylocust is commonly known as Thornless Honeylocust. It is a tough medium-sized flowering tree that casts a light shade that won't kill lawn grasses. The leaves of this honeylocust fall in the early fall, protecting the tree from being damaged by hard-freeze and heavy snow. These thornless honeylocusts are great additions to the landscape as a shade tree. Moreover, it comes with an excellent yellow color in the fall.

Growth Rate: It grows at a fast rate with an increase of around 2 feet per year.
Mature Size: The Skyline Honeylocust grows up to 30-50 feet.
Soil Preference: It grows best in rich, moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soils under the full sun.
