Sterling Silver Linden


The Sterling Silver Linden is a a splendid shade tree with light gray, smooth bark and leaves that are a dark, radiant green on top, shimmering silver beneath. It offers extremely fragrant clusters of yellow-white flowers bloom in late June to early July. In summer, the trees treat your neighborhood to a marvelous, scented floral display. The pendulous, creamy-yellow blooms smell bright and sweet. Silver linden flowers are highly attractive to bees, and other beneficial pollinators.

Growth Rate: This tree grows at a medium rate, with height increases of 1–2 feet per year.
Mature Size: It can grow up to a height of 40-45 feet.
Soil Preference: It grows best in moist, acidic, alkaline, loamy, moist, sandy, well-drained and clay soils.
